HOW TO RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS ON TECNO Q1

Tecno android phones according to stats is the most used smart phones in Nigeria and most African countries.
Its come in varieties that puts potential users into confussion when trying to choose which to go for.

Tecno Q1 is a very interesting and lovely smart phone with keypad and touch screen, but it also has, according to my experience an unreliable battery and they keypad requires some energy to punch.



But this aint the aim of the topic, i want to share with you step on how to restore you tecno Q1 to its factory setting also known as the "Hard Reset"

If you own same Tecno Q1 just like me, or some similar Android 4 smartphone, after some time, issues are likely to come up, because Your Android Phone may be unable to boot up or you could be seeing some strange Apps, and
Files which are irrelevant and stubborn to Uninstall. your Cache would also be increasing, consuming space
in the phone

The Best and Safest way solution to this is to
perform a factory reset on your Android phone
(recovery mode), this will wipe everything and
restore your device to its factory state.

This method works on many Android 4.0 phones,
but I specifically used the below method on my
Tecno Q1 Android 4 phone and it was reset
perfectly.

Hard Reset can be done even when the phone is unable to boot for various reasons. To do this, just follow the steps below carefully.

NOTE: Hard reset would wipe off all your Data, including all Google Authenticator credentials, do well to Back up of all your Important files/folders before performing the Hard Reset.

STEPS!

1. Hold your Volume Up + Power Button, you're
gonna get something like the screenshot below.

2. Tap your Home button to bring the "Recovery
mode Menu " Use the Volume Up and Down key to scroll up and/or down,

3. Scroll down to "wipe data / factory reset" and select this using your Home button
Hard Reset is now Activated, Scroll to - Yes erase all
user data with the volume buttons and select with the
Home button.

It would take few seconds to wipe off all the Data,
Reboot the phone, and bring it back to it's Factory
state.

It can also be done even if your phone is able to boot on and operate,

You can do a Hard Reset right from your Screen
Goto Settings >> Backup & Reset >> Scroll down to
Factory Data reset and Confirm this by Clicking
"RESET PHONE"
